17 ft humans?

Today's Times of India - Hyderabad edition reports that a team of amateur anthropologists have uncovered evidence showing existence of a 17 ft tall species of humans in a village about 60 km from Palakkad in Kerela. The team claims to have discovered footprints of a "gaint-man" who had a shoe size of 29 inches, lived in a shelter 50 m high and weighed well over 400 kg.
