Pakistan coach Bob Woolmer died on Sunday, 18th March, 2007, one day after Pakistan was knocked out of the World Cup by Ireland.
He was found unconscious in the bathroom of his hotel room and was rushed to a hospital where he was declared dead.
It appears as though he could not cope with the humiliating defeat of his team at the hands of the newbies - Ireland, but the question lingers on whether he died a natural death arising out the the shock of his team's defeat, or he committed suicide or whether he was murdered, a question only time will answer.
Bob Woolmer was born in Kanpur India. He played 19 tests for South Africa and went on to become the coach of South African cricket team.
